1 About the App

PijonPay is a digital ledger (khata) that helps you record money you give to and receive from your customers, track balances and due dates, and send reminders. You may use it for personal or business record keeping. The app is currently available for Pakistani mobile numbers (+92).

2 Your Account

• You sign up with your own mobile number, which is verified with a one-time code sent by SMS.
• You must provide accurate information and may hold only one account per mobile number.
• You are responsible for everything done with your account and for keeping your phone and verification codes secure. Never share a code with anyone.
• You can use the app without an account; your records then stay only on your device.

3 Your Records

• You own the records you enter, and you are responsible for their accuracy.
• PijonPay is a record-keeping tool only. It is not a bank or payment service, does not hold or transfer money, and does not verify that any debt is owed.
• Records in the app are not legal, tax or financial advice, and we do not guarantee that they will be accepted as proof in any dispute.

4 Your Customers' Information

When you add a customer, you confirm that you have a genuine reason to record their name, phone number and transactions.

5 Acceptable Use

• Do not use the app for anything illegal, fraudulent or abusive, or to record debts you know to be false.
• Do not add numbers you are not entitled to use, or try to access another person's account or data.
• Do not send spam or misuse the SMS verification, reminders or AI Assistant.
• Do not reverse engineer, overload or interfere with the app or its servers.

6 AI Assistant

The AI Assistant gives automated answers based on your records and may be incomplete or wrong. Check important figures yourself and do not rely on it for financial, legal or business decisions. Daily usage limits apply, and answers are generated by third-party AI providers as described in our Privacy Policy.

7 Notifications

If you allow notifications, the app sends due-date reminders and important service messages.

8 Backups & Data Loss

• With an account, your records sync to our servers when you are online. Changes made offline are saved on your device and uploaded once you are back online.
• Records that have not synced yet, or that are kept without an account, can be lost if your device is lost, reset or the app is uninstalled.
• You can export your records as a PDF at any time from Settings.

9 Service & Changes

PijonPay is currently free and shows no ads. We may add, change or remove features, or introduce paid features or advertising in the future. If we do, we will update these terms and our Privacy Policy first.

10 Intellectual Property

All designs, logos, code, and content belonging to BitBrood and PijonPay are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reproduce any part of the app without prior written permission from BitBrood.

11 Limitation of Liability

PijonPay is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, BitBrood is not responsible for:

• Data loss due to user error, device issues, app uninstallation or records that were never synced
• Incorrect or inaccurate entries, or answers from the AI Assistant
• Any decisions made, or disputes arising, based on records kept in the app
• Undelivered SMS codes or reminders, and interruptions or errors in app availability

12 Termination

You can stop using the app and delete your account at any time from Settings → Account → Delete Account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or misuse the app.

13 Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Continued use of the app after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms.

14 Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan. Any disputes arising from use of this app shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan.
